The Listening Tree
My new book THE LISTENING TREE is now available at lulu.com and on amazon. Since I had so many projects this past year with different writing opportunities, this book was a break from the norm for me. It’s a short poetry form book that delves into growing pains and the hardships we face in our youthful years. My son, Tony, came up with the title, and the beautiful canvas art was done by my daughter, Lana. They consulted me on each page and helped me gear it toward a middle school through high school aged audience to let them know they are not alone. Here’s the description:
There are times when everyone feels the world is against them. There are times when everyone achieves a milestone they want to share. In either of these cases and more, all we want in those moments is for someone to hear our thoughts and listen. The Listening Tree is our escape place. It is a place where judgement is void, and a place for peace of mind. Within these pages are thoughts many of us have throughout our youthful years. Day 18: SUMMER RAIN GENERATIONS OF POEMS

Day 18 of #scrypthalloween takes a break from fiction and moves to poetry with my collaborative work SUMMER RAIN: GENERATIONS OF POEMS. Some facts: 1) it was published as a collection on sept 11, 2018. 2) the title was taken from a poem my grandmother wrote called “Summer Rain”. 3) the works within include not just my #poems and #song #lyrics but also some works by my mother, grandmother, wife, daughter, and son. 4) the excerpt is shown is called “Moonburn.” That and other songs I recorded can be downloaded free on SoundCloud. 5) I decided to publish this because people who knew my song lyrics had told me I should publish them as an independent work. Summer Rain: Generations of Poems
A little collaboration I’ve been working on is finally completed. For years I’ve been wanting to do something a little different from fiction, and here it is… a collection of poetry.
Summer Rain contains generations of poems from the family of author, Rick Pipito. Over 185 writings including works by Charlene Pipito, Roberta Pipito, Tony Pipito, Lana Pipito, Anna May Prokop, and Rick Pipito.
