Available now at lulu.com, Amazon, and Barnes And Noble sites is THE BEYOND TIME TRILOGY. This collection includes 3 novels (including the 2019 award winning THE THIRST OF CAIN). There are also 3 short stories and bonus material never before released. It retails for $27.99 plus S&H, but you can of course get each individual book via digital format as well. Here’s the description:
A COURSE FOR HUMANITY introduces Francis Murphy, a reluctant anti-hero who is more than your typical human convict. A group called, Continuum, must turn to him for help when a rogue agent travels into the past to alter history. If Murphy and Continuum can’t work together, the very fate of the future and all reality may be doomed.
THE THIRST OF CAIN sees Murphy journey throughout history from the present to the dawn of humanity to rid himself of a curse. That curse is the mark that Cain received after murdering his brother Abel. It’s a curse that was destined to plague the world. In order to find a cure, Murphy must make the ultimate sacrifice. The result of that sacrifice will change everything we know, but will it be for the better or something far worse?
CONSUMED BY WAR follows a pair of immortals throughout the course of history to modern day. They’ve manipulated major events in our past, but one of their goals is to place his own judgement upon the world. The other knows that it will cost humanity too much, and must find a way to stop the enemy before it’s too late. Ancient artifacts of legend are the key to each of their goals. Who will aqcuire them first?
Also included in this trilogy are three short stories that take the reader beyond time: THE LOST HOUR, THE LOST DAY, and THE LOST YEAR.

Day 30 of #scrypthalloween takes a look at my #vampire#novel BLOOD, THE SECOND HELPING. Here are some facts: 1) it was published on September 28, 2011. 2) Cain’s House of Twelve vampires was created as an antithesis to Jesus’ Twelve Apostles. Cain is seen as the vampire lord and savior. 3) In the book there is a scene that describes what would happen if a vampire drank the blood of someone who had a blood borne disease, like HIV or AIDS. Even the blood suckers are not immune. 4) King Arthur, Vlad Tepee, The Great Sphinx, Elizabeth Bathory, and The fountain of Youth are all crucial elements to the plot. 5) the characters in the book were loved by readers so much that I went back eight books later and gave them prequel adventures in “The Thirst of Cain”. What are your favorite vampire stories? #halloween#authorsofinstagram
Day 29 of #scrypthalloween takes a look at my most recent #novel CONSUMED BY WAR. Here are some facts: 1) it was published on June 21, 2019. 2) the cover art done by none other than @dpipito of @pintsizedpages features his face and the back of his head on the reverse side. 3) I wanted a book that would focus on all eras of battle, so it begins at the near dawn of man all the way until present day with each chapter focusing on a different time period. 4) some of the historical and mythical influences in the plot are: Atlantis, the Dead Sea scrolls, Jarngreipr Gauntlets, Chrysaor Blade, Roman gods and Achilles, Pinaka Bow and Robin Hood, Draupnir ring, Blackbeard, the Man in the Iron Mask, Baba Yaga, the Bezoar stone, Russian Civil War, Nostradamus bowl, Hitler and the dawn of World War II, and the Roth Ramach Wheel. Of those mentioned, some were illustrations in the book provided by my talented cousin @vaughn_casons_creations . 5) Quotes relative to and before each chapter are taken directly from Sun Tzu’s The Art of War. What are some of your favorite conflict stories? #authorsofinstagram#war#history
Day 28 of #scrypthalloween gets into #dnasplicing and #evolution in my #novel GENETIC MORSELS. Some facts: 1) it was originally published on June 22, 2015. 2) @dpipito of @pintsizedpages came up with the design and #art for the cover to reflect a chalkboard with biology notes. 3) I grew up a fan of comic books and wanted to write a novel about people with abilities. When I approached this #book however, I did it based on real laws of physics. It’s very grounded and lacks colorful spandex to create a feasible plot. 4) the original title was “Fatty Morsels” and it was going to be a wrap up of loose ends from the first six novels. When I decided it could kick off a new trilogy I changed the title and merged the idea to involve genetic manipulation and evolution. 5) there is an underlying political theme that runs throughout the plot that echoes a lot of what we see in politicians today. Jason Black is more than just a world leader, he’s a villain with public trust and nefarious intentions. #authorsofinatagram#dna#superheroes#supervillains#political
Day 24 of #scrypthalloween is here and since it’s my #birthday I’m doing a #free#book#giveaway. First come first serve and if interested in the digital download then inbox me. Here’s the EDEN’S ORDER TRILOGY. Some facts: 1) the #collection was originally published in print and digital on May 9, 2013 and can be found at lulu.com as well as on amazon and Barnes and Noble sites. 2) the #compilation includes the novels: FLESH AND LEFTOVERS, BLOOD THE SECOND HELPING, and BONES AT BREAKFAST, as well as the short stories in ZOMBIE INCIDENTS, LEGENDS OF VAMPIRE, and IN CASE OF WEREWOLF. #zombie#vampire#werewolf 3) the cover #art by @dpipito of @pintsizedpages has a tree representing the Tree of Knowledge, but with the bark being flesh, the branches bone, and the tips blood, which represents each of the novels within. 4) this was originally called “Flesh and Leftovers: Eden’s Order Trilogy” but after the series continued and became known as the ETERNAL HUNGER SAGA, I decided to drop the former title to just reflect the trilogy itself. 5) bonus content in the book includes a comprehensive timeline of all the events within. The plan was to continue with this but as history became a larger factor as the series went on it became nearly impossible to continue, especially since the end of the series brings in time travel and alternate realities aside from our own. #authorsofinstagram#reading#novels
BONES AT BREAKFAST is the #novel of focus for day 23 of #scrypthalloween. Here are some facts: 1) it was published on February 15, 2011. 2) not only did @dpipito@pintsizedpages do a fantastic job with the cover art but he also included the illustration shown of my Native American character Chief Whispering Wolf. 3) the “true” story behind the origins of certain folklore and fairy tales represented in this book are: Little Red Riding Hood, Peter and The Wolf, The Three Little Pigs, #werewolf, and #greekmythology. 4) when rounding out my outline for writing this book I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to keep a Lycan story interesting. Once I fleshed out the details and began #writing it ended up being the quickest and easiest book to write so far. 5) one of my werewolves in the pages experiences altered moods and appearances based on every phase of the moon, not just a full moon. What are your favorite werewolf stories? #authorsofinstagram#eternalhungersaga
Day 21 of #scrypthalloween brings #artificialintelligence to a whole new level in my #novel TECHNO FEAST. Some facts about the #book: 1) it was published on March 9, 2014. 2) this was perhaps the most difficult of my novels to write because it had to be something unlike what’s been done before, but also be timeless in an age where #technology runs our lives. 3) there is a robotic mannequin in the plot that I based loosely on the innovative and life saving products that @techlinetrauma creates. 4) the book was considered for #movie treatment but shot down by the studio because in their words it needed to be “portrayed as a series.” They loved the concept but couldn’t do it justice in a two hour movie. 5) there is a scene I wrote which details a mother dying giving birth. I wrote the scene after almost losing my wife and son in a similar situation. Thankfully they are with me now and all is okay, but it was definitely a frightening experience. What are some of your favorite #ai stories?
Day 20 of #sCrypt Halloween is all about #conspiracy in my #novel PLANET ATE. Here are some facts: 1) it was published on March 7, 2016. 2) the cover is a recreation of a dry erase board similar to one I have in my office with notes on the current #WIP. 3) although #aliens are a central focus of the #book it focuses more on the government coverup as to them existing. 4) The Apollo missions, The Book of Ezekiel, Neanderthals, Noah and his Ark, Area 51, the Hollow Earth, the Holy Grail, Easter Island, Egyptian Mythology and more are all incorporated into the plot. 5) before each chapter is an actual quote made by important figures in our history regarding the existence of extra terrestrials. What is your favorite conspiracy?
Day 19 of #scrypthalloween shares some facts and an excerpt from my #novel DEVIL’S DESSERT. 1) it was published on May 3, 2013. 2) the title for this #book was decided on by a vote from readers and followers. 3) every faith, religion and non-believer was taken into account when writing and researching the #demon lore within. I wanted to represent each of these in a story that would show those differences may not be as far apart as people think. 4) it earned a place in the top 100 list of novels for that year. #top100 . 5) God and the Devil are represented as Light and Darkness with their own views on the universe and those who dwell in it.
Day 15 of #scrypthalloween goes way back to my first #novel FLESH AND LEFTOVERS. Here are some facts: 1) it became published on August 9, 2010. 2) I initially started it as a response to conversations I had with others about what we’d do in a #zombie outbreak. I had no idea it would spawn a #writing career out of it. 3) I unfortunately did not have an editor for it, so there were a few mistakes during the print, but it was all part of the learning experience. 4) halfway through the #book I realized I was having a lot of fun and decided I wanted it to begin a series with each entry focusing on a different threat. It soon went from zombies to everything else. 5) I had a few emails from readers who claimed I’d given them nightmares and in one instance threw up from a graphic scene. 6) @dpipito created the cover art with teeth tearing into raw meat. It was a subtle way to portray the topic and remains a favorite to this day. What are your favorite zombie stories? #authorsofinstagram#horror
Day 12 #scrypthalloween takes a look at an excerpt and some facts from my novel DEVOURED UNIVERSE. 1) it was published on August 28, 2016. 2) the quotes that precede each chapter were chosen to directly relate to different discoveries by scientists about the universe. 3) my goal behind the book was to delve into the unknown in a way that didn’t repeat what has been done in Star Trek or other space stories. It is all based on what we know as well as theories substantiated by various studies. 4) originally this was planned as part 2 to PLANET ATE, but as I wrote Planet I realized I could expand on both creating a great follow up and still maintaining that they are separate entities in the saga. 5) @dpipito did the cover design to fit the theme of the previous two novels in the trilogy. This time it’s a digital layout. One day we’d like to rerelease with an actual holographic cover. #space#exploration#universe What are your favorite space stories?
Day 7 of #scrypthalloween focuses on my #novel THE THIRST OF CAIN. Some facts: 1) it was published on May 15, 2018. 2) I was awarded the “Best opening lines of a novel” for it. 3) after a lot of feedback and reader love for the characters of Cain and Lilith I decided to delve back into their history for one final outing in this book. 4) the plot originally didn’t revolve around time travel, but was going to feature finding out that the Garden of Eden was actually another planet. 5) @dpipito@pintsizedpages did the art for the cover and it was decided to use Stonehenge as the backdrop since it is integral to the plot.
Day 6 of #scrypthalloween takes a peek at my novel A COURSE FOR HUMANITY. Some facts: 1) It was written in the year 2000 but I shelved the idea for years to get it just right. 2) March 8, 2017 was the publication date with some tweaks to the story and tying it in to my main series of #books, 3) The cover is a photograph of plains with the green energy as an interpretation of time ripples featured in the plot. 4) the recurring theme of “The truth was lost” was a dig at how divided we’ve come because of social media and a lack of fact finding, 5) the book was my response for the population of the world to open up their eyes, accept and understand differences, and move forward for the betterment of all. #novel#timetravel#sciencefiction#scifi#book#authorsofinstagram
Day 3 of #scrypthalloween is all about my BEYOND HUMAN TRILOGY. Some facts: 1) even though it’s a trilogy it contains six books. A trio of novels and their spinoff shorts (GENETIC MORSELS, PLANET ATE, DEVOURED UNIVERSE, EVOLVED MUTATIONS, ALIEN ENCOUNTERS, and COSMIC ORBITS). 2) the collection was published originally on February 7, 2017. 3) The cover art by @pintsizedpages@dpipito is inspired by #leonardodavinci ‘s Vetruvian Man. On it you can see an amalgamation of the topics from the books (evolution, aliens, and conspiracies). 4) there is bonus content in the print version of the trilogy including an insignia and hint at what is to follow. 5) it’s available in print at Barnes and Noble and lulu websites as well as on Amazon. #book#trilogy#novel#alien#halloween#conspiracy#evolution#geneticengineering
Day 2 of #scrypthalloween outs the spotlight on my novel SOULS 4 SUPPER. Here’s an excerpt and some facts: 1) this book placed me on the top 100 author list, 2) it was published on 10/26/12 and is available in print and digital at lulu and amazon, 3) most of this #novel was inspired by experiences I have had at some point in life, 4) I wrote a scene so terrifying that I actually freaked myself out while #writing it. 5) Atlantis, Joan of Arc, Aladdin’s Lamp, Pandora’s Box, JFK, the Tower of Babel, and Veronica Berenice Allred’s all of the historical or mythological elements that play a role in the plot. #authorsofinstagram#book#bestseller#ghosts#haunted#halloween.
In their latest “Interviews with Authors,” the Awesome Gang asked me a few questions. Check out what I had to say about CONSUMED BY WAR, writing and a few other things. Be sure to check out the other interviews and book things on their site.
It’s release day for my new novel CONSUMED BY WAR!
Here’s the description: Since the dawn of time there has been conflict driven by something sinister behind the scenes. When two men cursed with immortality discover secrets hidden in the Dead Sea Scrolls, one of them uses the knowledge in an attempt to bring humanity to judgement. In a race that spans time, these two eternals travel to various locations around the globe to seek out ancient artifacts of legend. They meet and inspire key historical figures, while leaving their marks on history and igniting wars. No matter who becomes victor of this conflict, one thing is for certain… humanity won’t be prepared for what’s to come.
It also features cover art by Dan Pipito @pintsizedpages and interior art by Elizabeth Vaughn Cason @vaughn_casons_creations

I finished the first round of edits and have half of what I’ve done back from the editor for round 2 of polishing it up. Amidst all of this I found that I wanted to leave something more for the reader, so I added a little surprise stinger at the end that will enable a plot point for a future book or short story. It’s nothing big, but enough that I can go back to it soon and write more.
No matter what I do to wrap up this saga I just can’t help adding a little more for anyone who has followed the series or individual entries. Perhaps all my future books will take place in the same reality as the current series, but on its own accord. I love planting seeds like these, but what do you feel as a reader? Do you like to have something to look forward to if the story is closed out? Or would you rather there be no open ends?
While CONSUMED BY WAR is being wrapped up, and after the teaser last month for the cover (done by Dan Pipito) of the new novel, comes some amazing sketches for the interior. Here’s a quick teaser with more to come, but in the meantime head on over to @vaughn_casons_creations on Instagram to see some of her amazing work and more images from what she’s working on for the book. Stay tuned for pre-order info and release date in July.
Now that my novel CONSUMED BY WAR is in its final editing stages and will be released in July 2019, here’s what’s in the works for the next twelve months or so:
THE LOST YEAR – a short story that will serve as an epilogue of sorts to the new novel, and also be a stand alone adventure with a female lead. (September 2019)
BEYOND TIME TRILOGY – 3 novels and 3 short stories that circle from the future into humanity’s past and present. (Late 2019)
DIGESTED CONCEPTS – Nonfiction book taking a look at the inspiration and behind the scenes of the Eternal Hunger Saga (2020)
Secret project – (2020)
Untitled Baseball book – nonfiction look at the sport of baseball, coaching experiences and how to be an effective coach and so much more related to the sport. It will be presented in a fun way for readers who are and are not fans of America’s past time. (late 2020)
Lots more in the works as well, so stay tuned and don’t forget to follow me on twitter and Instagram @rickpipito as well as on facebook @rickpipitobooks.
