Book Goodies Interviews Rick Pipito
Hot on the heels of my previous interview, comes Book Goodies, who graciously asked me a few questions and share a little preview of CONSUMED BY WAR. Check out the article here:
Consumed By War
It’s release day for my new novel CONSUMED BY WAR!
Here’s the description: Since the dawn of time there has been conflict driven by something sinister behind the scenes. When two men cursed with immortality discover secrets hidden in the Dead Sea Scrolls, one of them uses the knowledge in an attempt to bring humanity to judgement. In a race that spans time, these two eternals travel to various locations around the globe to seek out ancient artifacts of legend. They meet and inspire key historical figures, while leaving their marks on history and igniting wars. No matter who becomes victor of this conflict, one thing is for certain… humanity won’t be prepared for what’s to come.
It also features cover art by Dan Pipito @pintsizedpages and interior art by Elizabeth Vaughn Cason @vaughn_casons_creations
The book can be found in print for $7.99 + S&H at Consumed By War print
and in digital for $3.99 at Consumed By War digital purchase

Final edits for CONSUMED BY WAR
I finished the first round of edits and have half of what I’ve done back from the editor for round 2 of polishing it up. Amidst all of this I found that I wanted to leave something more for the reader, so I added a little surprise stinger at the end that will enable a plot point for a future book or short story. It’s nothing big, but enough that I can go back to it soon and write more.
No matter what I do to wrap up this saga I just can’t help adding a little more for anyone who has followed the series or individual entries. Perhaps all my future books will take place in the same reality as the current series, but on its own accord. I love planting seeds like these, but what do you feel as a reader? Do you like to have something to look forward to if the story is closed out? Or would you rather there be no open ends?
Cover Reveal: Consumed By War
The brainstorming and writing has been incessant as of late. Wrapping up this novel has proven to be a challenge for me because it will be the final entry in this 12 book saga. Making it stand alone and also tie up all the unanswered questions from the previous novels is probably one of the most difficult things I’ve done, but it will be well worth the wait. The historical and mythological tie ins for this book exceeds everything I’ve done so far and in a way that will have the reader on the edge of their seat.
That being said, here’s the cover reveal for CONSUMED BY WAR. My brother, Dan Pipito, did the art and came up with the concept for this. Be sure to follow him @dpipito or check out his children’s art @pintsizedpages.
Let me know what you think.
