2019 Best First Lines

I spent the weekend overwhelmed with gratitude.  My novel THE THIRST OF CAIN has been chosen as the gold medal winner for the 2019 Best first lines of a novel by Authorsdb.  The criteria includes: Best overall rating, lines that pull the reader into the story, and making the reader feel involved in the story.
