Day 29: CONSUMED BY WAR

Day 29 of #scrypthalloween takes a look at my most recent #novel CONSUMED BY WAR. Here are some facts: 1) it was published on June 21, 2019. 2) the cover art done by none other than @dpipito of @pintsizedpages features his face and the back of his head on the reverse side. 3) I wanted a book that would focus on all eras of battle, so it begins at the near dawn of man all the way until present day with each chapter focusing on a different time period. 4) some of the historical and mythical influences in the plot are: Atlantis, the Dead Sea scrolls, Jarngreipr Gauntlets, Chrysaor Blade, Roman gods and Achilles, Pinaka Bow and Robin Hood, Draupnir ring, Blackbeard, the Man in the Iron Mask, Baba Yaga, the Bezoar stone, Russian Civil War, Nostradamus bowl, Hitler and the dawn of World War II, and the Roth Ramach Wheel. Of those mentioned, some were illustrations in the book provided by my talented cousin @vaughn_casons_creations . 5) Quotes relative to and before each chapter are taken directly from Sun Tzu’s The Art of War.
