Day 5: A LITTLE GIRL IN THE LAND OF THE HICCUPS

Day 5 of #scrypthalloween looks at my first children’s book A LITTLE GIRL IN THE LAND OF THE HICCUPS. Some facts: 1) It was published on Aug 29, 2016. 2) the watercolor art throughout the book is done by @dpipito @pintsizedpages 3) I wrote the book for my daughter when she was hiccuping often in the womb. 4) My desire was to create a world like the L Frank Baum’s Oz or Lewis Carroll’s Wonderland 5) The Hiccup creatures were designed by Dan based on what I needed, so the description of them wasn’t written until after the final art submission. #childrensbooks #illustration #authorsofinstagram #oz #wonderland #hiccups #girlpower
