Animals of Oz series #3: The Queen of the Field Mice, Eureka the Pink Cat, and Toto the dog

This time, my daughter placed the setting at the field of poppies along the yellow brick road.  She decided to portray the Queen of the Field Mice, Eureka the Pink Cat, and Toto the dog all walking together.  On the back she included a quote from the novels.  “You have some odd friends, Dorothy,” she said. “The queerness doesn’t matter so long as we’re friends,” was the answer.”

Her goal was to portray that despite all our differences, we can all get along.  I think she’s on to something with that line of thinking.
