Day 31: Happy Halloween 2014

2005Well, finally the 31 Days of Halloween has concluded.  We’ve shared some insights, information, teasers, had a hell of a lot of fun, and it all leads up to tonight.  Halloween has always been a big tradition in the Pipito houses.  We’ve had neighbors working with us on building attractions for the kids in the area to trick-r-treat through, and while we no longer have time to do that sort of thing, we still look forward to creating our own costumes.

Here’s a collage of our costumes over the years.  The only exception is that this year, Roberta (of will be Malificent, and I and my son will be Sabretooth and Wolverine respectively.  My daughter already had her dress up with daddy, so Dracula and Draculaura make an appearance in the picture above.

I’ve also included a picture of Dan and Tara, since Dan is the other half of sCrypt Comics.  He really goes all out being the artist that he is, so you can see the designs he’s done below.  You can click on either image to make it larger.

What are you being for Halloween?

  1. This is FABULOUS! Are any of you cosplayers? That’s a big thing for my daughter- besides Halloween, our local RadCon convention is a big opportunity for her. Reminds me that I should make up a collage of some of our Flickr shots of all the costumes we’ve done.

    • We aren’t cosplayers but I definitely love getting into the Halloween spirit, so making my favorite comic & horror characters come to life in as original way as possible is something I love doing each year. You definitely should make a collage up. 🙂
