Commanders And Their Agencies Poll Winner(s)?!?

Well here is a first.  It appears that people are divided on the outcome of this battle.  Nick Fury and S.H.I.E.L.D (Marvel Comics), Amanda Waller and Checkmate (DC Comics), and Liz Powers and M.U.T.S. (sCrypt Comics) were duking it out when a fan decided to add General Hawk and G.I. Joe (IDW Publishing).  Multiple votes came in for all four, but in the end each ended up with 25% of the vote.  All four agencies and their commanders must have realized that humanity is here to stay, and so they put their differences aside and became one large organization.  With all of their efforts combined, there is no longer a need for superheroes to protect the planet.

Thanks for voting.  The poll will remain open to see how it continues to play out.  Stay tuned for our next comic book battle poll coming soon!

  1. Well as of the most recent issue, Duke is running the Joe team. But I agree Hawk was a cold mother funker. Waller vs. Fury, it’s hard to say. Fury does seem to have some compassion though. I have to find out more about Liz Powers.

    • I haven’t read GI Joe comics since the 80s… I’m a bit out of touch… Even with Duke in there I don’t think the poll would have changed… He isn’t as cold as Hawk, but he got the job done. As far as Liz goes, she is more of a sleeper. You don’t really know who she is until things are well into the stories, but once you find out the reaction is usually, “HOLY $#!+”. People don’t typically expect it, but like where it is going. You definitely should pick up the first three books in my flesh and leftovers series… She has a really established and great role as leader in book 4 which I’m almost finished writing now. I’m going to work her into the graphic novels at some point too. THanks for the post 🙂
